The Fernwood community is one of those intimate parts of the city that most Victoria residents can say has touched their lives at some point or another. We grew up here. We played around the blackberry bushes here. We graduated from high school here. We rented our first basement suite apartment here. And now, in this place that has always felt like home, we are opening our first restaurant here.

Welcome to Ça Va Bistro in the heart of Fernwood Village. Join us for an exceptional culinary experience.

Ça Va will emphasize local, organic and ethically raised produce whenever possible.

‏I grew up just a block or two away from the restaurant, and have always wanted to open my own place right here at home," says Martin. A graduate of UVic, and the Camosun College culinary program, Martin started her career a dozen years ago working in some of Victoria's finest restaurants before moving to Australia, where she honed her craft in a variety of well-respected establishments, including Montrachet, considered one of the best restaurants in Queensland and Brown Sugar in Bondi Beach. Upon her return to Canada Fauna spent a short time at the Delta Ocean Pointe Hotel and Resort before risking it all to open Ça Va bistro moderne.
